The Wild Gentlemen of Swing.  Playing and Singing a mix of New Orleans’ swing and Parisian jazz from 1930s and 40s, with a modern musical flair, this jazz band are available as a trio, quartet, or sextet and will delight any crowd of any age.

Their energy, humour and enthusiasm for the music is infectious in both their walkabout and stage shows, while their obvious enjoyment of the raw and passionate musical pleasures shine through. Whether going table to table serenading, giving an intimate acoustic experience to a select few, or playing on stage to thousands, the end is result is the same – pure joy.

The trio comprises of Alto sax, Helicon/Tuba and Maccaferri Guitar, creating the perfect combination of dirty horn jazz and gypsy swing, with luscious 3-part vocal harmonies. The quartet adds a double bass and one more voice to the harmonies.

The sextet adds Baritone Sax and Drums and yet another voice, a wild Swing Orchestra in a tiny package. The sextet takes the sound of a Big Band to all stages, parties and events that have a stage big enough. Despite only having 6 players, their stage presence is that of the biggest swing orchestras around and perfect for any event that requires a big sound.

Singing original tunes and classic standards, this 100 year-old music is given a breath of fresh air by the highly skilled energetic performance, immaculate dress and tongue-in-cheek charm of the band as they guide you on happy journey through musical tastes. This is foot tapping, hand clapping, cheering swing at it’s best, playing to celebrities and Royalty alike, smiles are spread one note at a time.

GIGS Recent public gig highlights include the Guiness Jazz Festival (Cork), Moods Jazz Club (Zurich), Moulin Rouge (Paris), Chill Out Festival (Istanbul), White Mink (London), Royal Albert Hall (London), as well as playing events and parties in Germany, Italy, France, Holland, Monaco, Luxembourg, Belgium, Portugal and a plethora of other venues and parties (events) in cities around Europe.
